I'm really sorry to do this to you all (again). I know how much this probably annoys you guys. I'll just be completely honest about this and just say, I miss blogspot, dreadfully. This website, though I think it looks awesome, has been really difficult for me to use, its not 100% ready yet and I don't have time at all to "learn" the ropes for the stuff that's incomplete. We do too! I think I lost the camera this last week, at the park, so if you read this post, PLEASE pray that we find it. I cannot remember taking it out of the car, but something tells me I must have. I'm praying that God has protected it there under the tree and when I go back today, it will be sitting there and I will be amazed. We just bought this camera back around Thanksgiving and it wasn't cheap, so I'm feeling quite sick over this. Thankfully, we paid for insurance on it, so it may not end up being as bad as it seems, but still... I hate misplacing things. Its a horrid thing.

In other news -- Happy Memorial Day everyone! :)

I've been doing quite a bit of thinking lately, about what to do with this website. I have such sentimental attachment to it because we started it just after getting married, 4 1/2 years ago. Its done in Drupal, which I have yet to learn and so there's very little I can do with it, other than just write posts. I like the freedoms I have on my website with design, etc...

We realized the other day that we are getting very little traffic on here and thought maybe you're all just as bored with it as we are. :) We do keep all our photos attached to this site and we like that because those are set privately and we can monitor who has access. I'm not exactly sure what we're going to do, but I recently started thinking, maybe I need to learn how to use Drupal and just maintain this as our only website. I'm sure us having two is rather annoying to you all anyway. :)

My friend Krista had recently posted that she is learning HTML and PHP and that's really what started motivating me into wanting to finally learn Drupal. Plus, Jason uses it so much in his work, it would be fun to be on the same page with him in that area. In the meantime, please don't get too terribly annoyed with us and we'll do our best to keep pictures uploaded and somewhat interesting posts coming.

Lots of pictures have been added! I can't remember now what albums I put them in or what albums I created, but it will probably be obvious. I did add quite a few to the "random July pictures" and then created several new ones. We're also working on finding out how to get the captions that I write above each picture in Flickr, to be above the pictures here on our website. In the mean time, if you want to see captions you have to go to our flickr stream and look there. :)

We're going to be changing a few things here at jastef.net -- Nothing that will effect any of you too much, but I wanted to post about it so there's no "wondering" or confusion.

Since starting this website (4 years ago - wow!) we've always posted family birthdays and Anniversaries. From now on, we're going to keep that to personal cards and phone calls and only post about major holidays. No other reason other than worrying that we'll forget someone and also just having lots of birthdays and such in a large family... this will eventually turn into the birthday blog. :)

In closing this out, we will send Anniversary wishes to my sister Trisha and her hubby Caleb. Their Anniversary is tomorrow, so this is a nice way to close out this habit. Happy 9 years to you both! May God bless the next 90 :)

Jason uploaded all our photos last night. We have the photos from our trip to Monterey, the photos of Rachel and my trip to S.F and then maybe some random ones in there. I know there's a funny one I took of the kids in the jogger stroller a few days ago - Ethan sporting his new (must wear 24/7) sunglasses and he wanted a picture of them.
