I mentioned a while back that I installed Windows XP on my laptop using Boot Camp, but that I had exceeded the number of times that I could activate my copy of Windows.

The Internet activation told me that my license was no good any more,  the automated phone bot told me that my license was no good any more, the live phone person told me that my license was no good anymore.  Instead of caving, I told him exactly why that statement was ridiculous (valid XP license, using it on ONE machine, legally and all that).  And he shut up and handed me an activation code.

 Big step forward for me... I even got a little indignant (it's amazing how the prospect of paying another $150 for something you already have can do that). 

 Oh, and I continue to want Call of Duty 4 pretty badly. *drums fingers till Mac release in May/June* 

We have BIG congratulations going out to our good friends the Yimbo family! The Lord has blessed them with their 3rd son!! Peter Xavier Oriwa (named for his Uncle) weighed in at 10 pounds and 22 inches long! Sounds like labor and delivery went very smooth. Gretchen was very awake and alert this morning, even though she hadn't slept all night.

Congrats to Patrick, Gretchen, Patrice and Oliver!

We'd like to congratulate our friends Nick and Krista Sobrak-Seaton on the birth of their new son, Elijah David. He was born at 7pm last night (April 10th) and weighs 7 pounds 11 ounces and is 19 inches long. Krista and Eli are doing very well and she had a pretty smooth labor and delivery.

For those of you that don't know, this is kind of a fun fact... baby Jack Lutz and Elijah are cousins; born only a couple weeks apart!

Seems like every time I turn around, another one of my friends is pregnant! This time we'd like to congratulate the Dulkevich family... Steve, Jennifer, Carolyn, Alyssa and Austin will be welcoming their 4th little blessing sometime in early September.

We're very happy for you guys and we thank God with you, for this amazing gift He's giving you. Blessings on the pregnancy, labor and delivery!

We have very exciting news to announce - our good friends Bryan and Jessica Kemper are expecting their 2nd child in October!!

CONGRATULATIONS you guys! We'll be praying these next 8 months for a very healthy pregnancy and baby. Ethan was very excited to know that his friend Jackson will be getting a new baby at his house. He pointed to my tummy and said "Rachel, Mommy!" -- I think he remembers how this all happens.

Hello All,

  Looks like Jonathan Alahuzos will be coming home from the hospital soon! He's been responding well to the medications and he's down to two doses a day; getting close to only needing one a day, which is awesome! Thank you to ALL of you who have been praying for him - they greatly appreciate it.

 I hear he's gaining weight and looking as handsome as ever. I'm hoping to see him either Saturday or Sunday and maybe I'll even be able to take pictures, so you can see the little boy you've been praying for.

 Continue to lift their family up to the Lord and pray that God would continue to give them comfort, rest, strength and increase their faith (as its obvious He already has!) and also that He would give them more opportunities to be a light to those around them.

 I've had a few of you ask me where I know them from - I teach piano to their 3 older kids and Renee and I are in the same core group at CBS.

We got some very good news today... our friends the Sauder family are expecting their 3rd little blessing in August! Congratulations you guys!! We'll be praying for a safe pregnancy, safe delivery and a very healthy baby.

 Jason has been working some very late nights this week (getting ready to launch something BIG at work). Tonight I put Ethan to bed and we prayed together. Every night one of us (or both) will pray with him, we say the words and he repeats. Here is how tonight's went...

Stef: "Dear Jesus... please bring Daddy home safely from work

Ethan: repeats

Stef: "help Ethan to obey Mommy and Daddy"

Ethan: repeats

Stef: "give Ethan a tender conscience"

Ethan: repeats

Stef: "we pray Ethan would follow after You when he is very young"

Ethan: repeats

Stef: "Amen"

Ethan: "Amen... Mommy, I yuv Jesus."

 I know he's just saying what he's heard us say and he's only (almost) 2, but these moments make the all the trials in my life worth it. :)
