We had a very nice weekend; not a lot going on for once. Saturday we all got up rather late, around 8:30am and we had a very lazy morning... ate breakfast, stayed in our pj's while we played with toys and did some light house work. Then we all took naps (which is SO rare) and in the evening Jason and I went to the Kempers and my Mom baby sat our kids.
Sunday was also a very nice day. I missed out on church, which was a bummer, but Jason was at least able to go. Ethan is still not 100% well, so I stayed home with both kids. After church we had a very relaxing afternoon; ate lunch, Jason took Ethan down to the park and played until nap time and then around 5pm a bunch of our friends from our church in Livermore came over - Jason's parents, his Grandma and sister Jenny, the Escotts, Staggs, Brock (who Ethan calls "Uncle Brock") and my parents. We had such a great time with all of them. We kept it simple; pizza and salad for dinner and Jason's Mom brought dessert. It was an overall great time for all of us and we hope to keep doing this on the 1st Sunday of the month. That way we'll not lose contact with our Livermore church family. 
Monday is here and we don't have much on our schedule today. Enjoying this fall weather, maybe taking a walk, or going to visit Nana. I have some pictures I will post soon... some of them of kind of old; of our visit to Sutton and Hudson's house a few weeks ago and then some are just pictures of miscellaneous stuff. Yesterday evening I brought home LEGO Star Wars II! I received a Best Buy gift certificate as an early birthday present, and having heard good things about the game went and picked it up. It's fun; the game isn't difficult (it's almost impossible to lose), and the trick is to look good while beating it. And, to pick up all of the extra side goodies that unlock the bonus content, which is additional characters, vehicles, and levels. Ethan came downstairs last night (couldn't sleep) while I was playing and sat next to me. The game is a bit more... simplistic than what I normally play, and he apparently was able to follow what was going on really well. Anytime I swung Obi-Wan's lightsaber or fired a blaster and blew something up, he said, "Oh no!". This afternoon at lunchtime I went out with a buddy from work to go throw a frisbee for a while. We found a park in Chinatown, but it was crawling with old people just milling around, and we were worried we would hit someone. So then we walked over to the Bank of America building and tossed the disc out in the plaza there, but a security guard shooed us away, apparently worried that we were going to hit someone :) Finally, we gave up and walked over to Moscone to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, which has a very large grassy park area. We got about 5 throws in there before the guard at the park explained to us that "games are not allowed" in the park. Apparently they're worried we're going to hit the people sleeping on the ground? Thoroughly annoying that we can't play frisbee at a park. We finally gave up for the time being and headed back to the office. We'll have to do some more research before we try that again.
